Greetings to all! This is EVS back with another tip on how to properly fangirl! Today's Tip is entitled "You Have Your Biases And So Does Everyone Else"
Most if not all K-pop fans worldwide have their favorite member(s) in a group. It could even be a solo artist that they adore.
The thing about K-pop groups is that there is a diverstiy among fans when it comes to having a bias or favorite in that group. A fan may comment "I like so&so!" while another fan could comment "I think such&such is the best!". Every now and then, fans will argue with each other about who has the better bias even though they are in the exact same group. This is not proper behavior for a fan of any group or artist.
If you are arguing with another member of your particular fan club about who has a better favorite, you are not displaying admirable qualities of your fan club. Who wants to be in a fan club where the members have cat fights and argue with each other?
It's time to accept that some people favor another member or singer rather than your own. It's foolish to believe that you are superior to another member of you fan club because you favor a member they do not. Everyone has their own reasons for loving a particular member or artist. They may see something in a member or artist that you don't and vice-versa.
When you start fights with your fellow fan club members, you shame your entire fan club. Your actions paint a negative image for you and the rest of your collegues. Accept that someone likes another member more than the one you like and move on. Only the fans can change a negative view of a fan club. Grow up and be that one!
